USE OF VERB IR

Just like English says, "I am going to...", Spanish uses the verb ir and the preposition a followed by the infinitive:

Voy a bailar mañana – I am going to dance tomorrow

¿Cuándo vas a comer? -  When are you going to eat?

Tú no vas a ver nada – You are not going to see anything.
